If you are looking to cool off in the summer or just want to swim, you have plenty of choice.
Directly on the river, where you can find towards the Gaistal many nice places to paddle; swimming there is somewhat difficult. A nice outdoor pool can be found at the Wildsee in Seefeld where you can also swim in the lake (a bit muddy). Also the nearby, beautifully hidden in the woods, Möserer See is suitable for swimmers; it is one of the warmest lakes in Tyrol. If you really want to swim or sail in a larger lake, you will have to drive a bit to the Grubsee near the German town of Krün, or the Walchensee a little further away. In bad weather, there are 2 indoor pools; in Weidach and Seefeld.
Plenty of options in the region if you want to laze and enjoy yourself by the water.

Did you know that Ostbacher Stern is an excellent group accommodation? You can rent several apartments with several families or a group. You can rent the whole house, or part of the house (a floor) or just a number of apartments and rooms of your choice. We can accommodate up to 42 people (28 beds and 11 sofa beds). The advantage of Ostbacher Stern is, that you can retire to your apartment or room whenever you want. In the basement there is a large kitchen for about 15 people, where (part of) the group can cook, eat, sit. Also the garden is big enough for all of you to sit, BBQ or play.

onderful season in the mountains! Once most of the snow has melted away, the first flowers appear. The animals can go outside again; time to pack up the hiking boots and head out.
Beautiful contrasts in nature: the white mountain peaks, the blue skies and the beautiful green alpine meadows: this is pure enjoyment.
The hiking and biking trails are once again good for making trips: nature is smiling at you. Directly from home I take a walk with the dog; piece of forest, piece of Leutaschtal, not too strenuous, but for the dog very nice. Along the Leutascher Ache is always very nice for dog and man; Luna likes to play in the water. In the afternoon I take the car and drive to the last parking lot in the Gaistal to make a short walk to the Hämmermoosalm where you can eat and drink on the beautiful terrace overlooking the Hohe Munde.
What I love about the area of Leutasch in spring is that you can do wonderful hiking and biking at any level: easy, flat or strenuous hikes and bike rides. Long or short, directly from home, or just a little first with the car; and ….nice and quiet! A piece of paradise on earth!

This insurance is not expensive for a short period of time.
There are two types of cancellation insurance:
– Standard cancellation insurance: This insurance does not cover corona related matters, unless you have corona yourself and therefore need to cancel.
– All-risk cancellation insurance: When you take out the all-risk cancellation insurance, not only can you invoke the cancellation reasons stated in the terms and conditions of the standard insurance, but you may also decide for yourself what reason you do not want to go on holiday. These could also be corona related reasons. You will be reimbursed 75% of your cancellation costs for these additional cancellation reasons.
